About The Gay Guy’s Love Coach

So, who is Greg Halpen?

Once upon a time the idea of a romantic relationship felt extremely foreign to me. I attempted to “find” them and wanted to be in one, but always acted from my “default” ways of being:  re-active instead of co-creative, moving too quickly, never spending time getting to know the person.

Until one day I realized I was not having any meaningful relationships - or platonic friendships for that matter. Rather, I was chasing people away and losing friends left and right. Going from painful romance to painful romance.

Something had to change. So I asked myself these questions:

Who am I?

What do I want?

How do I get what I want?

i

Through trial and very painful error, and almost twenty years later, I realized that it starts with me. I can change only myself – I can’t change anyone else.

I never really knew what my life’s purpose was. When I tried to explain it, it was vague. I really had no clue. When people asked me what I did, I always responded with a list of things that I was good at – not a purpose.

With a sudden rush of comprehension , I knew what I needed to do. My life’s purpose was clear - to help create change where change is needed. I believe that, in the gay community, we need more positive models for gay men. Models that show us how to live happy and fulfilled lives. How to attain the love relationships we want deep down inside.

“Greg, the aptly named Gay Guy’s Love Coach, was very helpful to me. Not only was he able to help me concentrate on what I was looking for in a partner, work through some of the obstacles that I had placed in front of myself, but he also helped me come up with successful strategies that have already helped me with my dating life.”

Answer: I’ve experienced every obstacle my clients face today. It was a long learning curve. But I’ve been there and know how to get out. I won’t work with anyone I can’t connect with right away. Having fun is important to me, and I work with others who hold the same value.

Who are you ideal clients?

Answer: Individuals who want the best for themselves. Those who appreciate and are interested in personal self-growth. Gay guys who are ready to let go of old behavior and are excited about trying life differently.
